Worship is where we meet God in mercy and grace, receiving His gifts to us and responding with praise. First Lutheran has worship on Saturday evenings at 6:30 PM and Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Saturday evening features a casual atmosphere, including guitars, drums, and contemporary Christian songs. Sunday morning features a traditional style of worship, including organ, classical instrumentation, and hymns. Worshippers at both services will encounter the rich, time-honored elements of Lutheran worship, including: confession and absolution, Bible reading, prayers, creeds, and the Sacraments.
Saturday Evening Contemporary 6:30 PM
Join us Saturday evenings in the Sanctuary for our contemporary Christian worship. Saturday is a more casual service featuring a contemporary liturgy music of today's most popular Christian Music artists, as well as praise and worship classics led by First Lutheran's praise band, Uplifted. Come to hear God's word and a message from our pastoral staff.
Sunday Morning Traditional 9:30 AM
Come to worship Sunday Mornings for First Lutheran's traditional Worship. Traditional worship features traditional liturgy, a sermon from our pastoral staff, and your favorite hymns. Music on Sundays is played on the organ, and accompanied by First Lutheran's brass and woodwind ensemble.
Children's Church – Every Other Sunday
Every other Sunday during the school year, we offer Children's Church during the 9:30 AM Worship Service. Children’s Church engages children through song, activities and games to teach Christ centered lessons.
Bible Study Opportunities
The Bible is God's Holy Word, living and without error. Through Bible study, God's Holy Spirit strengthens our faith in Jesus and deepens our understanding of God. Bible study groups are a great way to grow in God's Word and enjoy uplifting Christian fellowship. We invite you to join us at a time that fits your schedule.

Youth Confirmation – 7th-8th Grade
“Confirmation is a public rite of the church preceded by a period of instruction designed to help baptized Christians identify with the life and mission of the Christian community. Prior to admission to the Lord’s Supper, it is necessary to be instructed in the Christian faith (1 Cor. 11:28). The rite of confirmation provides an opportunity for the individual Christian, relying on God’s promises given in Holy Baptism, to make a personal public confession of the faith and lifelong pledge of fidelity to Christ.”- Luther’s Small Catechism with Explanation
Youth Confirmation is offered in 7th and 8th grade. Please contact our church office for more information.
Middle and High School Youth Ministry
Middle and High School youth ministry seeks to equip and empower the next generation of Christians in our community and world. Remaining true to our Lutheran Confessions and proclaiming Christ as the center of our lives, our Middle and High School student meet twice a month for Worship, Bible Study and fellowship. Some of our activities include attending the National Youth Gathering and District Youth Gatherings, mission trips and service projects in our community.
Our schedule and meeting times change frequently, check out our upcoming events page!
